Our district leaders gathered at the Louis V Gerstner Jr Center for Learning at the IBM campus in Armonk for two fantastic days of learning and planning.

The Westlake Middle School Class of 2025 gathered for their Moving Up Ceremony on a morning that would mark both an ending and a beginning. With slightly threatening skies overhead, the ceremony started promptly at 9:30 to ensure the weather wouldn’t interfere with this important milestone.

The Public Hearing on the 2025-2025 District-wide Safety and Emergency Management Plan will take place at the beginning of the Monthly Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 7:30 pm. Budget Proposition: 427-109. It passed with 80% approval. Board of Education seats (3-year terms, uncontested): Christopher Pinchiaroli - 424 votes, Steven Mastrosimone - 409 votes.

Dr. Peter Rufa has been selected as the new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. The appointment will be formally recommended at the May 14th Board of Education Meeting, with Dr. Rufa set to assume his new role on July 1, 2025.
On Saturday, May 3rd, the 7th & 8th Grade Band and the Meistersingers had an amazing day at Music in the Parks!
