Important Safety Update (10/6/2025)

Earlier today, the Westlake Campus received a swatting call — a false report intended to trigger an emergency response. Working closely with the Mount Pleasant Police Department, our School Resource Officer, and on-site security personnel, we immediately investigated the situation. The campus was promptly secured while law enforcement conducted a thorough assessment. Law enforcement was able to determine that there was no credible threat to our schools.

Public Hearing on District-wide Safety and Emergency Management Plan - October 22, 2025

The Public Hearing on the 2025-2026 District-wide Safety and Emergency Management Plan will take place at the beginning of the Monthly Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 7:30 pm. If you have any comments prior to the Board meeting, please send them to Craig Scatola at cscatola@mtplcsd.org prior to October 22, 2025.
